Intralot Extends Contract with LotteryWest

As LotteryWest (the Lotteries Commission of Western Australia) continues to offer players the chance to win millions of dollars each week through huge jackpot draws, the group has announced that it has extended an existing contract it has with Intralot Australia.

The contract between Intralot Australia and LotteryWest was due to expire in 2013, but under the new deal signed, it has now be extended until 2016.

Intralot is responsible for the supply, maintenance and on-site support of the lottery commission's integrated gaming system. LotteryWest's system includes Lotos O/S, a network of terminals and Intralot's ground-breaking B-On gaming platform, which allows the sale of LotteryWest's games over the internet.

Jan Stewart, the Chief Executive Officer of LotteryWest said about Intralot's extension of its contract with LotteryWest: "During the last five years, Intralot has supported our goals to continue to operate a lottery that offers to the people of Western Australia exciting gaming experiences with absolute security and credibility and which will support our vision of being a leader in building our community."

Stewart said that LotteryWest was confident that in the coming few years, its partnership with Intralot would continue to be successful, helping the group increase its contribution and support many Western Australian community organisations and health services, as well as art and sporting organisations.

Saturday's Lotto draw will take place this weekend at 5 pm. Eight balls will be drawn from 45, with the first six being winning numbers and the last two supplementary numbers.
