Millions up for Grabs in Australian Lotteries

Tatts lotteries have an amazing week of prizes lined up for lucky winners through a whole range of game options.

There are millions in Australian lotteries up for grabs this weekend, and extending into the next week, meaning that all players really need to do is purchase their tickets and put themselves in line to take home life-changing sums of cash.

This weekend will see the TattsLotto jackpot reach an estimated $4,000,000. The draw will take place on Saturday, March 10th.

The TattsLotto, one of Australia's most popular lottery games, has 45 balls numbered 1 through to 45, and eight of them are randomly selected.

Since January 2011, when Division 6 was introduced, TattsLotto has been delivering more prizes than ever, and all players need to do to qualify for a Division 6 prize is land a winning number and two supplementary numbers.

On Monday, March 12th, the Monday and Wednesday Lotto will be offering a $1,000,000 First Division prize, while the following day's draw, Tuesday's Super7 OzLotto draw will result in a $2,000,000 first division windfall for lucky players.

Recently, Tatts introduced a new and exciting new format for its Monday and Wednesday Lotto, with a new Division 6 and a new Division 1.

To win Division 6, players need to land one or two winning numbers and two supplementary numbers, while the new Division 1 prize will guarantee $1 million for two winners every Monday and Wednesday. Both these new options will deliver more millionaires when compared to the old system.

The price of Monday and Wednesday Lotto tickets changed from 40c to 50c per game, in line with the enhanced prize system.

Tatts Lotteries are Safer than Ever

Speaking of changes, Tatts also informed all players that as from March 1, it is introducing an important new security feature to protect the prizes of its Tatts Card Members.

As from this date, Tatts Card members will be required to present their card and ticket to claim prizes in retail stores. This new feature prevents prizes being claimed by anyone but the winner, offering peace of mind over winnings.

A Tatts Card offers players extra perks such as the chance to check prizes each time their card is handed to the Tatts retailer, a personal phone call on a Division 1 win, a prize cheque sent to the winner four weeks after the draw if the prize isn't claimed by then, and a whole lot more.

The Tatts Card allows members to store up to 50 sets of their favorite games and numbers on the card, and players simply present their cards at the outlet and ask to play their favourite.
